Hi Elaine, I hope you doing fine. I really appreciated your reply regarding my queries, thank you so much. I would like to give an update after seeing my endocrinologist last tuesday May 21. my endocrinologist told me that it's good for me that I refused to increased my PTU as you explained he also told me that the dose of PTU will base on FT4 not on TSH level, hence he advised me to continue to take my PTU 100mg twice a day and to stop the propanalol but he switched it to bisoprolol 2.5mg once a day even I dont have any palpitations. I already stop my propanalol for 2 days now and not taking the bisoprolol and i dont have any palpitations. Is it ok not to take bisoprolol? as I felt like I dont need it as i dont have any heart problem before I diagnosed hyperthyroidism. I am taking Vitamin D 40,000 units once a week as per my endocrinologist advised for 4 months as my level is only 35 and he said it supposed to be 70 above. He also told me that the next blood test will be in 12 weeks. Im a bit worried because it is a long wait before they will check my thyroid function i am scared that i might go to hypothyroidism if i will wait that long. I hope you can advise me regarding the bisoprolol if i needed to take it and when the blood test will need to do so i can go private if they insist to check it in 12 weeks. thank you again

    Hi Kai,
I just replied to your first post. I'm doing well and just had my treatment and infusion. I'm traveling this week and will return next Monday so I'll be slow again. Just watch for hypo symptoms. Best, elaine
