You probably were tested for thyroid peroxidase (TPO) antibodies. According to most lab ranges, your results would be only slightly elevated. Your TSH of 2.5 would be considered normal as the recommended range is 0.3--3.0. Some references suggest lowering the range to 2.5 and even with this range your TSH would be considered OK. Usually, when TSH is normal, doctors don't order tests for T4/FT4 and T3/FT3 although if your thyroid antibody level was moderately high, your doctor might order these tests.
Some women who have autoimmune problems are treated with in vitro and also IVIG therapy. This is sometimes the next step if in vitro doesn't succeed. Good luck, Elaine
