Hi Elaine,

I have just ordered your book on LDN. I have sarcoidosis, probably for years, diagnosed last year when hypercalcemia caused acute kidney failure. On prednisolone for 4 months 40mg tapering to 5mg, finished this just before New Year, now I have an enlargened spleen, bone marrow biopsy on Wednesday.

Do you know of anybody using LDN for sarc, and how effective it is? I would really appreciate picking your brains on this one!

Best regards

Phil

Hi Phil,

Although sarcoidosis isn't very common, I've heard from at least two people who are using it and have noticed improvement. Also, Dr. Bihari told me that he's treated several people with sarcoidosis using LDN with good results. What you'll probably notice is that your condition is no longer progressing and eventually you should see improvement in symptoms. Be sure to have your vitamin D level checked as it can be quite high in sarcoidosis and if yours is you'd have to avoid supplements containing vitamin D. Best, Elaine
