Hi Elaine,
I've been off meds for 3 weeks, and got current labs and I am now officially hypothyroid, with T3 and T4 just under the south border of the range.
The good news is that my TSI dropped in half again so it is only 56 now, and TBII is very low at about 7. And, my TPO is still declining at about 520. So, here are my questions.
Why am I still having eye pain? I thought TSI was responsible for the eye stuff. Sometimes I get these "rushes" of eye pain, etc. that last about 5 days and just dissapear.
I read that you said that being hypo can trigger TED for folks with graves. How? If TSI and TBII are both low does it still trigger TED? Or, does it trigger TED when graves disease folks have higher amounts of blocking antibodies? It seems for me that I have low blocking so I'm at a loss.
As for meds, do you have a preference? My current naprapath believes in T3/T4 compounds over armour. I'm guessing I should take a bit to get me through this. Maybe my body is just leveling itself out?
Love and many thanks,
Monica
