The change in TSH and FT4 are about what you'd expect in a week after increasing your dose by 50%. In another 4 weeks your FT4 should be slightly higher and TSH will be somewhat lower. I don't think this dose will be too high because you see the primary effects in your FT4 level in about a week.
The pituitary gland watches closely over your levels. With your FT4 moving out of the hypothyroid range, the pituitary quickly slows down on TSH secretion. Your FT4 will soon be stable and in a few more weeks TSH will be stable too and it'll reflect your thyroid status. Best, Elaine
